The current panel was selected at the 41th Assembly of Parties in October 2024. PLE members generally serve for a four-year term.
The Panel of Legal Experts of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) elected Prof. Dr. Stephan Hobe (Germany) as its Chair. The 11 members of the Panel, and their alternates, were elected by ITSO’s Forty-First Assembly of Parties meeting in October 2024.
The Panel of Legal Experts decides on disputes between ITSO’s member States, or between ITSO and one or more of its member States, as is outlined in the Treaty Agreement.
