ITSO provides Member States with access to a variety of resources, including our public website and where applicable, restricted areas containing documents and resources for authorized users (“Services”). This Policy applies to all such Services, including any updates or enhancements.

4. Member Account, Password, and Security
You may use our public website without providing any personal information to us.
If any of our Services requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any ITSO server, or the network(s) connected to any ITSO server, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of any Services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any ITSO server or to any of the Services, through hacking, password mining or any other unauthorized means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Services.
6. Collection of Personal Data
When you use our Services, ITSO may automatically collect limited technical data such as your IP (Internet Protocol) address, browser type, access times, for security and system administration purposes. When you register for our services, your personal information is stored securely in our database. ITSO only collects personal data—such as your name, email, or telephone number—if you choose to provide it during profile registration.
ITSO, acting through its Secretariat, is responsible for the processing of personal data under this Policy.
Providing personal information on ITSO site is optional. If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still browse and use the ITSO site, but you will not be able to carry out certain actions such as registering for a meeting or downloading meeting documents and resources.
7. How ITSO Uses Your Data
(1) The personal data that ITSO collects is used to:
- provide requested information or Services,
- manage user accounts,
- manage user access to restricted content,
- communicate with users,
- organize meetings and events,
- ensure the security and proper functioning of the website and systems,
- fulfill ITSO’s institutional mandate.
ITSO does not process personal data for commercial purposes.
(2) No third-party service providers will be able to use your personal information which will be only used for the purpose on which we have your agreement. ITSO may engage trusted service providers (e.g., hosting or IT support) who process data on its behalf under strict confidentiality and security obligations.

Subject to ITSO’s legal framework, individuals may request access to their personal data, correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, deletion of personal data, restriction or objection to processing.
